Following recent debuts at the Royal Opera Covent Garden (Salome), Zürich Opera House (Mahagonny, Die Gezeichneten), the Komische Oper Berlin (Candide), and the Danish Royal Opera (The Exterminating Angel), this season features role debuts as Graf Elemer in Arabella (Oper Zürich) and Adolfo Pirelli in Sweeney Todd (Royal Danish Opera), as well as Mortimer in George Benjamin's Lessons in Love and Violence (a house debut at Theater St Gallen) and Melot (Royal Danish Opera under Lothar Koenigs).
Following a great summer with Opera Holland Park as Kudras in Katya Kabanova ('boasted a suave, light tenor with a crystal-clear upper register' Opera Magazine, 'warm-voiced and personable' Opera Today, 'sing[s] outstandingly well' Sunday Times), I'm looking forward to 2017-18 - highlights include The Exterminating Angel for the Royal Danish Opera, my role debut as Pedrillo for The Grange Festival, and my first Carmina Burana, as well as exciting cover projects for Glyndebourne and the Israeli Opera. See the Calendar page for more details.
